Christmas is a story of the unexpected. Mary received unexpected news. God fulfilled an ancient prophecy in an unexpected way. A child was born who would change everything. Christmas reminds us that God often works in ways we never expected. When life takes an unexpected turn, Jesus doesn’t leave us to figure it out alone. He is our Wonderful Counselor who walks with us as we rebuild our lives.
